Guests at Sonam-Anand wedding got some fabulous return gifts
Sonam Kapoor's wedding with Anand Ahuja won't be forgotten in a hurry. The big fat Punjabi wedding and reception took place in Mumbai on May 8, and Bollywood's who's-who were in attendance for the functions, including Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with Abhishek and Rani Mukerji.
Even before the wedding, Sonam was flooded with gifts, and shared them on her Instagram stories. Along with roses and sandals, she received traditional handicrafts, as well. Karan Johar gifted her a Kanjeevram sari, and Amrapali jhumkas.
And now, according to a report in SpotBoye, the guests received some spectacular return gifts as well, after the wedding festivities.
The gift hamper for women included a beautiful brown clutch, 2 Mac lipsticks, a bunch of green bangles, a Maang Tikka with earrings, a set of Mojris and many other things.
Prior to the wedding, mehendi and sangeet ceremonies took place on May 6 and 7.
Soon after her wedding, Sonam changed her name on Instagram to Sonam K Ahuja. This drew much flak from her fans.
In an exclusive interview to India Today Television at Cannes International Film Festival 2018 where the actress walked for cosmetics and beauty giant L'Oreal Paris, Sonam said that it's a matter of choice. And it took her some time to make the decision.
She added, "And if people don't understand the concept of feminism, they need to go online and look at the description. And how do you know Anand has not changed his name?"
On the work front, Sonam will next be seen in Veere Di Wedding.
